ನಾನು ಲಿಂಗರಾಜು ಡಿ. ನೊಣವಿನಕೆರೆ. ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕಬ್ಬನ್‌ಪೇಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ. ಆದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೊಣವಿನಕೆರೆ ಹೆಸರು ಸೇರಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಅದು ನನ್ನ ಜನ್ಮದಾತನ ಹುಟ್ಟೂರು. ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಲೇಟ್ ಎನ್.ಕೆ. ದಾಸಪ್ಪ. ಅರ್ಥಾತ್ ನೊಣವಿನಕೆರೆ ಕದರಯ್ಯ ದಾಸಪ್ಪ ಎಂದರು. ನನಗೀಗ ೫೪ ವರ್ಷಗಳು. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಬಸವನಗುಡಿಯ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ, ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ. ಅದೇ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿ.ಎ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂ.ಎ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮುಗಿಸಿದೆ. ಎಂ.ಎ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ೩ನೇ ರ‍್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಹಾಗೂ ೩ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಭಾಜನನಾದೆ. ೧೯೯೨ರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂ.ಎ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಹೊಸಪೇಟೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಹಂಪೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶೋಧನ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಂಡೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾಲ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
